The prensible of the salt is acid+base.It is an ionic crystal stuff which is the combination of metal and nonmetallic. According to the knowledge of science NaCl is salt,but it is not table salt. Table salt includes potassium,magnesium and even calcium.

Table salt is a white crystally compound which is known as NaCl in chemistry. Table salt which is a source of food ,is commercially an important stuff too. It occured a need and an article of commerce throughout history .Except that the nutrient salt is extensively used to breeding animals,in leather technology,in water softening systems and in the chemical industry.

Table salt occurs dissolved in nature,in the seas and in the form of rock salt and on the international seas dried up beds.There is still more not dried lakes salt. The Lake Salt and Lake Lut in Inner Anatolia and some of the lakes in America are some examples of this kind of lakes.
